From one pigmentally impaired blogista to another? Beware the mixing of mixing lotion bottles. A half bottle of spf 30 plus a half bottle of spf 40 does not make a full bottle of spf 35, as one might expect. In fact, the act of mixing (it would appear) renders both spf's totally spfless.
I find that the specific type of sunblock has a lot more impact than the SPF. The only one that has really worked for me (and let it be known that I burn under a 40 watt lightbulb, and enjoy doing things outside when not hungover) is coppertone sport.
For all the razzle-dazzle and fancy words that boutique brands mention, that one stays on, doesn't need to be reapplied, and just actually works.
For seriously.
